Each Ovela candle is hand-poured with love — and a little attention ensures every burn is clean, safe, and long-lasting. Follow these simple tips for the perfect candle experience:

Before Lighting

  • Trim your wick to ¼ inch (6mm) before each burn to avoid soot or mushrooming.

  • Always place your candle on a heat-resistant, flat surface.

  • Keep away from fans, drafts, or air vents.

While Burning

  • Let the wax melt evenly to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling.

  • Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

  • Avoid moving a burning candle or touching hot containers.

  • Keep away from flammable materials, children, and pets.

After Use

  • Extinguish the flame gently using a snuffer or lid (avoid blowing).

  • Allow wax to cool completely before relighting.

  • Store candles in a cool, dry place away from sunlight to maintain fragrance.
